Vet Appointments

Appointments may be made in person or by telephone. Please make a separate appointment for each animal, and request additional appointment time if you wish to discuss more than one condition. For ongoing conditions, please request the appointment with the vet you have seen previously – this helps ensure continuity of cases. If you are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible.

Home Visits

It is the policy of the Practice to accommodate all reasonable requests for home visits. Clients should be aware however, that their pet may still need to be brought to the Practice for treatment. Visits are normally carried out between 9am and midday. There is an additional fee for home visits.

Routine and Non Emergency Surgery

Routine and non emergency surgical procedures can be booked through the receptionist or the vet. You should be given the relevant pre-operative advice for your pet’s breed at the time of booking. On the morning of the procedure, patients are admitted by the nursing team between 8.30am and 9am. Animals undergoing routine procedures will normally go home later on the same day. They will be discharged by a vet or nurse, who will run through post-operative care instructions.

Vet Referrals to Specialists

With a wide variety of cases coming through the doors, your veterinarian may offer to refer your pet to a veterinary specialist for specialist treatment and use of specialist diagnostic equipment. This means they work in close contact with teams at referral practices to ensure your pet gets the best, most appropriate treatment.
